Ready to begin your career in continuing care?

Applications to the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program are completed in two steps.

Step One: Complete the short Eligibility Check form below to confirm you meet the minimum requirements. Once completed, a member of the NCC team will contact you to guide you through Step Two, the Full Application.

Program spaces are limited. Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission.

Already completed the Eligibility Check? Learn what to expect in Step Two here.

Please note: The Spring 2026 program has started. Any applications received will be added to the waitlist for the Fall 2026 program in which begins in October.

Important Program Information

Before completing the Eligibility Check, please review the following:

Program Type: The CCA program is an in-person, full-time, instructor-led program delivered at Northwood Career College, currently at our Halifax Campus. It is not an online program at this time.

International Applicants: Northwood Career College is currently not a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) and is therefore unable to accept international students requiring a study/work permit at this time.
